Fibers and their crafts reinterpreted in ceramics. This project explores natural and artificial fibers focusing on their usage and properties.
Natural Fiber: Tampico fiber is derived from the agave plant. Due to its high water absorption and durability, it is commonly used in the production of various cleaning brushes.
Artificial Fiber: Glass fiber is used to reinforce castable materials or repair damaged objects that need to withstand high pressure and tension. It was developed for industrial applications and is not recyclable.
